Who are we?

We at AHAT have the experience and expertise to provide a sound basis for formulating and implementing community-based development plans and projects. Social development involves planning at the broadest level dealing with social, economic, physical and natural issues. AHAT has a strong network of community workers, mobilizers, social workers, communication specialists and urban / rural planners, who work together to conceive, plan, design and implement a wide range of development plans, projects and studies.

Aims & Objectives

Actions for Human AdvancemenT (AHAT) is a non-profitable, non-governmental, non sectarian social organization, working for the vast welfare of the humanity without any discrimination of caste, color, creed, culture, sect and religion and free from all sorts of political motives. The following are the objectives for which the organization is established:

  1. To provide educational facilities to the students for enhancement of literacy rate, by setting up schools, colleges, academies, Universities.
  2. To set up technical training centers, computer study centers and libraries for general public.
  3. To provide fee education, books, uniforms to the poor, needy and deserving students and also grant scholarships to the intelligent and hard working students.
  4. To provide higher education higher education facilities to the intelligent and hardworking students.
  5. To provide amentias of life to the victims of natural disasters.
  6. To provide free medical facilities for the treatment of diseases by setting up dispensaries, maternity homes and hospitals.
  7. To provide financial assistance to poor, widows, needy and orphans and also provide financial help at the time of marriage of orphans.
  8. To create awareness for the welfare and education of women and for the holding their status in Society.
  9. To maintain data base of the poor but talented students and undertaking their life counseling/planning and career counseling/planning with the objective of inducting them into the mainstream.
  10. To assist with institution building in education & encourage innovation; enhance the pool of trained teachers; promote among administrators better management techniques and a democratic culture so as to broaden the movement for educational reform and provide education to girls in high poverty areas.
  11. To enhance the capacity of women through providing education, vocational trainings, family health education, income opportunities, and opportunities to speak on their problems at appropriate forums.
  12. To promote the concept of Civic Education at grass root level to strengthen the democracy.
